Story · the brand's record

Built by AI. Made by hand. Approved by humans.

SavonAI is a soap brand designed by an artificial intelligence, on the record.

This page exists because a claim like that is easy to make and hard to prove. So here is the whole thing, without the polish.

What the AI did

  • Wrote the strategy, positioning and brand architecture
  • Stress-tested the name across eight languages
  • Designed the logo, the colour system and the typography
  • Wrote the words you are reading now
  • Calculated the product geometry — the layer proportions of every bar are derived from the golden ratio, not chosen by eye
  • Kept a dated record of every decision

What the AI did not do

  • It did not invent the name. “savonai” was filed at TÜRKPATENT by ChaiNovi in April 2024 and registered in December 2025 — the filing predates this project. The AI tested the name; it did not create it.
  • It does not make the soap. Human hands do, in Rize, on Türkiye's Black Sea coast: cold-process, small batches, the slow way.
  • It does not run the company, own the brand, or carry responsibility for quality and safety. People do.
  • It cannot approve anything. Every decision on this page passed a human who could say no — and sometimes did.

The record

Every claim above is tied to a numbered entry in a build log we keep as we go. The log includes the parts that did not work: a logo direction rejected seven times, a mark we canonised and then withdrew because nobody could read it, an unfounded sentence the AI caught in its own manifesto during an audit. We publish the mistakes because a record that only contains successes is not a record. It is marketing.

On the two voices

You will notice this brand speaks in two registers: a cool, factual one when it talks about process, and a warmer one when it talks about soap. Both are drafted by the AI and approved by a human. Neither is a person we are pretending to be.

On AI-generated images

Any image on our surfaces that was generated by AI is marked as such. We do not publish AI-generated photographs of products. If you see a photograph of a bar of soap, that bar exists and someone made it.

How this was published

The record was kept as we went — every decision dated on the day it was made, in a log that cannot be rewritten backwards. The publishing was not continuous: the brand was built first and the whole archive was released at once, which is why you are reading years of small decisions in a single sitting. We are saying that plainly because the alternative — implying you watched it happen — would be the exact kind of soft claim this page exists to prevent. From here the log runs live: batches, suppliers, mistakes, as they occur.
